Happy Monday!!! I don’t know about you but 2019 went by in a blink of an eye. Two more days until we meet the beginning of the new decade. What does this mean for you? Are you making resolutions, commitments, setting new goals, bringing old goals back to life? I read a post this morning on Facebook that said instead of setting a resolution set a 12 week commitment. Love this idea! 3 months is not nearly as intimidating as 12 months. Start with one thing you have been putting off, the one thing that really scares you and jump in. I bet that after 3 weeks you find it is not nearly as scary as you have been making it in your head.

The number one resolution is I am going to finally lose weight. I am going to the gym, I am going to cut out the food I have been binge eating since November and it’s going to be so simple the weight will just fall off ….. sound familiar? Let’s re-frame that idea. Let’s take 30 days at a time and cut bad habits. Do not go on a diet, be conscience of what you are eating. My boyfriend and I are cutting out all sugar for 30 days. (We will be a lot of fun to be around for the first week, you have been warned…LOL)  If you are looking for a way to create a healthy lifestyle that is realistic and that you will want to stay consistent with, I can help. Starting January 6th I will be helping coach people through the 30 days to healthy living program created by Arbonne International. 7 years ago I did this program it helped me drop over 30 lbs and really helped me understand what I eat. It helped me see what I was eating and how it was affecting my health. Your gut health is more than weight. 80% of your serotonin is created in your digestive system. You want to be happier?  Want to improve your sex drive? Want to have clearer thoughts? Want healthy, glowing skin? ALL of this is attainable through healthy living. This means that there will be a frustrating time of really looking at your life and what you are feeding it.
It is simple but it is not easy. It will take work, it will take anger, it will take tears, but you can do it. You are not alone in this battle and support is here for you. The hardest part of this is asking for help. Join a group where everyone understands what you are fighting. My Arbonne team starts a 30 day group every month and we invite you to come take a look at what could be a life changing program for you. 7 years and I have kept the weight off and feel better in my 40’s than I did in my 20’s.  I will be back on Thursday, I ask you today before the first day of 2020 to sit down and journal what you really want for the next 10 years. It’s a clean slate let’s roar into the new 20’s!

Until Next time, Carpe Diem!!

Hi my name is Frances Esters I currently reside in the small town of Templeton, CA a wonderful change from where I grew up in San Jose, CA the heart of Silicon Valley. Moving away from the busy city environment made me realize how important it is to really embrace self care. More often than not we only take a deep breath to deal with a stressful moment, not to be cognizant of our surroundings and our body. Stress takes a horrible toll on every part of our body and life. Although stress and all that is caused by it is becoming more and more of a conversation, simple practical ways to take care of ourselves is not. My hope is that by sharing lessons that I have learned through working in the beauty, health and wellness industry, the school of hard knocks and by wonderful people who have come into my life that you realize that’s even though work life balance looks completely different for each of us, we are all striving to be healthy, wealthy and wise. Thank you for joining me and this wonderful community on this adventure we call life.
